Little Brothers & Peter Piper

We took Miriam's family to our favorite pizza place in town....Little Brother's. So good! Our favorite pizza there is the lasagna pizza!!

We then had a little time left so we took the kids to Peter Piper to burn off some energy!

Everett took ownership of all the ride-on cars. He panicked if any other kids went near them!!

Awards Program

Both the kids got awards this week at their school's semester awards program!

Everett Jacob -- 23 Months

Everett is 23 months today!! I can't believe he is almost 2!!

Everett loves all food...but his favorite are berries.

He is off his binkie!!!  Yay!! I do miss it sometimes for him. But I am more glad that he has made this transition so well.

He loves nursery. He practically ran there this past Sunday.

He is still not talking. But we are planning on having him evaluated this next month.

He loves books and cars and balls...and just about all things boy.

He brings so much fun and joy to our home!!

Sundance Square

Miriam's family is in town...and we took them to Sundance Square...since we were all close by.

Elliott -- Orange Belt

So proud of Elliott! He advanced to orange belt this morning!!

No Peeking!

He didn't really care what the wrapping said...I guess he's ready for Christmas. He's the only one that investigates what's under the tree. And I just love having the presents out all December long!

 ...but maybe I should've let him open them all up....he is still feeling so cruddy!!

Ninjabread Men

Instead of a gingerbread house...this year we made ninjabread men! It was so much fun...and less stress than a house!

Everett -- No Binkie!

Day 3 of no binkie. Since we've been out late the past 2 night...we thought we'd try it out. Everett is our 1st child to take a binkie...so this is all new to us!! But he is doing amazing!! He whined a little at nap time today and yesterday...but has not gone looking for it!! So very proud of him!!

Burleson Parade of Lights

Patrick was with the youth since they had their own float in the parade tonight. So that meant that I was flying solo with these 3 goons at the parade! They, of course, LOVED it!!

Bethlehem Revisited

We took the kids out to Waxahachie where a church puts on this Bethlehem Revisited! The kids had so much fun!! We all loved this family time!

Thanksgiving Cookies

Elliott requested to make Thanksgiving cookies this week. Have you ever tried to find Thanksgiving cookie cutters?!? I went to 3-4 stores. And then I finally found them at Hobby Lobby...thank goodness for Hobby Lobby!

They had fun...Everett had fun eating the candy and the cookies!

Elliott Wayne -- Book Worm

Elliott loves reading! He hates it when I make him. But it's so fun to catch him reading on his own. We were cleaning today...and he tried to get out of cleaning by reading. It didn't work. So it was super nice to see him reading when he had finished cleaning! Love my Elliott so very much!!

Everett Jacob -- 22 Months

I totally spaced it and remembered 2 days later that I missed his 22 months!!!

Here he is playing at the park. His favorite are the slides! He just flies down them and lands on his bum...he gets up and runs to do it again!!

Everett Likes Mac/Cheese

Look at this! He just got out of the bath 5 minutes ago! And I found him like this! Apparently, he stole his sister's mac/cheese and is covered in it!! I guess he was still hungry! He's my little tornado!

My Emily Rose

Oh...this cute beautiful girl! I just love her so very much! She's struggling in school right now and it's just breaking my heart! She is struggling because she's so shy and nervous...and I know she gets it all from me!!! She is just so precious to me!!

Lunch with Kids!

I went and had lunch with the kids today! I surprised Emily...when she saw me, she ran and gave me a big hug and then burst into tears!! She said she missed me. Oh how I love that girl!

And then there's Elliott. I had to bribe him to let me take a picture. He asked if we could eat at a table by ourselves with a friend. I thought that was sweet.
