Everett Jacob -- 10 Weeks

Love this little dude of mine!! 10 weeks today!

We took a trek today and took a ride with Daddy to one of his work sites. And Everett had a diaper explosion...and I forgot to put a spare outfit in the diaper bag. He used the spare this past Sunday and I didn't replace it! So he went without clothes for a few hours.

The past few days...he's been more interested in socializing with me (smiling and "talking") than eating. Which I love...but also frustrating because I know he needs to eat!

He's getting to a more fun stage...I love that he's starting to interact more. I saw him tracking me the other day as I was walking back and forth...that was fun too. 

It was hard to narrow down the pics this week...so many that I love!

Easter 2016

We've had a fun Easter. I liked that when we were doing Resurrection Eggs on Monday night for FHE that Elliott kept jumping ahead and telling me more than I was ready for. I LOVED that he already knew the stories!!

We dyed our eggs a little differently. I found how to dye eggs using shaving cream...so we did that. The kids had a lot of fun with that. I liked that it was a lot faster...and each egg was a little bit different. We'll probably be doing it this way next year too.

They had fun going through their baskets. But we did have to wait until it got light outside to do the egg hunt.

Egg Hunt

Our cute little town held 3 egg hunts this year. This was the only one we actually made it to. Elliott was bummed because it was only for 4 years and under. Emily had fun...bashful of course...but she still had fun. On the way to the car...there were volunteers handing out handful of skittle packs to the older kids. So Elliott was super excited he got some!

Everett Jacob -- 9 weeks

My sweet little boy is 9 weeks today. He had 3 shots yesterday!! He had a hard night, so I was happy that pictures came out today!

He was trying to talk to me in the last 2 pictures when I was holding him in my arms. I love it when he coos and tries to talk to me! And I love his smiles too!!

I really can't believe how much he's grown and how quickly it's going by. I keep reflecting back on those 1st 24 hours he was born and what a scary experience that was for us. We are so very grateful for this little guy in our family!!

2 months! Can you believe this little guy is now 2 months old?!? I can't believe it.

We love him like crazy!!

He is still an awesome eater!

He now sleeps 8-9 hours at night!

He smiles at me when I talk to him...and every once in a while...he'll try to talk to me too.

If he's looking at you and you move, he can track you with his eyes. He's only done it with Emily so far.

He does like his binkie when he's fussy. He may be my only child that will take it. Elliott is a champ at putting it in his mouth when he needs it. And Emily likes to let me know when it's time to feed him...you know...when he's crying!

We all love you so much little guy!!!

Spring Break 2016

So I haven't taken any pictures all week...but we've had a fun week!

Monday: Peter Piper Pizza with Grandma & Grandpa Abercrombie

Tuesday: My really good friend Kathleen came to visit!!!

Wednesday: Kathleen took us all to go see Zootopia and a visit to the park.

Thursday: 1st visitor-less day! Elliott's been anxious for a haircut...so we went. And then we discovered he had lice! YIKES!! And Elliott and I made popsicles and dinner together!

Friday: Movie Day!! We hung out and watched movies all day.

Saturday: Family Day!! We went and found some bluebonnets to take pictures. Patrick and the kids had fun playing at Falls on the Brazos River park while I fed Everett.

Bluebonnets 2016

 It was such a beautiful day...we had to take advantage and get some pictures with the bluebonnets. It was pretty windy...and chilly too!!
