Halloween!

We took the easy way out with our pumpkins this year!! And honestly, the kids had way more fun with this  and there was way less whining!

And we went trick or treating with friends! We ordered the jack o lantern pizzas from Papa Murphy's...the kids got a kick out of that!

Halloween Activities

Today was a busy day! We had Boo at the Zoo in Fort Worth. And the kids got way too much candy! And then we had a Boo Bash in downtown Burleson...we only did 1/4 of that and they got so much candy too!! Elliott tried to avoid the camera as much as possible! I think it's a game for him. Emily was excited to give Frankenstein a high five and a picture with Belle!

Elliott is 9!!

Happy Birthday Elliott!!!!

I can't believe it's been 9 years since he was born! That was such an emotional and exciting time!

It is just so exciting to see him grow and mature and see what kind of young man he is becoming! He is an amazing helper!! He sometimes tries to get out of chores by taking Everett out to play. He knows what a big help that is...and he knows I always give in to that and he gets out of chores!! He is amazing in school...and is so responsible! I am pretty much clueless what goes on with him at school...because he takes care of it all and I never hear from the school. He is a great reader...it's just hard for me to find those books that captivate him. But once I do...he barrels through that series of books so so fast!

Donuts for breakfast! Of course!!

He was really easy for the rest of the day. He wanted pizza and to go play mini golf as a family.

He did really good at mini golf...he and I scored the same!

He's been asking for a particular video game since April. So I wrapped it in a big box...so he was pretty sure he wasn't getting it. So this is him discovering what was in the box. Yep...spoiled!

Trunk or Treat

We've been in a lot of wards in our day. But we really of this ward's trunk or treats!! Everett loved wandering and running around...I mostly let him. The kids had fun winning treats and playing on the bounce house. And of course getting oodles of candy!!

He may be the cutest one of the bunch!!

Everett Jacob -- 21 Months

Everett is 21 Months today. He is growing so much. He's not a baby anymore. But sometimes....very rarely....when he's snuggling with his bear and is about to go to bed....I also get a snuggle out of him...and then I see a very teeny tiny bit of baby still in him.

He's quite the hardy bruiser type of boy. He falls...bonks his head...wipes out...and he doesn't care. He might rub his head...and just keeps on going and going and going!

He's my little sidekick...and is quite crazy. He is super attached to me. Since we left him for an entire week...and then a few weeks later...Grandma picked up from bed when I was out of the house. So...he doesn't handle me being away from him very well! Understandbly though!

He's not talking. He might've said bear the other day...but it was quick and only that 1 time. I'm going to try to not have a binkie in his mouth as much during the day so maybe he can have more opportunity to talk.

My Little Sidekick

Yep...this little guy is my sidekick...he's so goofy!

New Car!

We have a new car! A Toyota Sienna. We traded in our traverse for this. We'd rather have a minivan. GM is not as dependable as Toyota....and we started having issues with it. So...we traded it in so that our payments would at least go towards this car instead of waiting. We all love it!!!

Thank you Patrick! He took me on a cruise...then took me to my parents' house...and then bought me a new car...all within 1 month!!! He spoils me.
