Happy Birthday Patrick!

It's Patrick's birthday today! 41! And for the record...he so does not look 41!

The kids made him cards....they couldn't wait to show him.

I think this is the 1st year, I didn't make him a cake. The kids picked out a cupcake each for him. I just started a new eating plan...so I'm out! I found some old candles in the drawer....this works.

And Everett got some! His 1st cake! Elliott's 1st cake was at Patrick's birthday too!

He wasn't sure what to think of it....at first.

He decided to grab my toothbrush...looks like he knows what to do with it! (There's a cap on that!)

Everett Jacob -- 36 Weeks

Everett 36 Weeks!

Everett is back to sleeping through the night! We'll see how long it lasts this time!

Sadly, my nursing days are coming to an end. I've had issues upon issues this past month. And my supply has dwindled. If it was just supply issues...I could work on it...but it's more. I keep getting blisters that prevent the milk from coming out...and it's painful. So maybe only a week or 2 left. It brings me to tears to think this will the the very end of my nursing days.

Everett is getting so much better at sitting up!! So proud of him! Yesterday he has started getting extra wiggly on the changing table...where it's almost impossible to dress him because he just keeps rolling and rolling! He has been so so happy this past week...he always has these super big smiles!

He is now doing 3 meals a day! He is so thrilled about it! He would probably prefer food over milk any day. He inhales the food...he beats Elliott & Emily with whatever they're eating. Oh he's not a fan of peas...the only food he refuses!

Oh Everett is just getting so so big...and growing and growing so so much!

Everett Jacob -- 35 Weeks

35 Weeks! Only 17  more to go!! Crazy how fast it has flown by. I feel like my baby doesn't look so much like a baby!!

Everett is getting a lot better at naptime. Bedtime is always a shot in the dark. He did better last night by just waking up at 4 am. But he used to be a lot better. If anything has changed (out of town, a cold, time change)...he throws his bedtime schedule out the window!!

He is still loving his food...of course!

For PT, we are working on sitting up. She wants him sitting up independently soon. He can do it for a few seconds...but we need to work on it. I guess I'm not that worried...Elliott and Emily didn't sit up until they were closer to 9 months.

I put away all those cute onesies that Katy/Brock gave us. They were after all 6 months...but I loved them...they were oh so cute. Now I only have like 3 onesies in his size. I must have another box of clothes somewhere...or I'll just have to go shopping!!

Just love this sweet happy boy!!!

Everett Jacob -- 8 Months

Everett is 8 months today!!

He is growing and changing so much!

He has been improving with his physical therapy...we are now working on sitting up independently. He likes to scootch his knees under him...it kind of freaks me out that he is getting into position to crawl!!

He is getting more and more attached to me. If I walk away for less than 2 seconds...he falls apart! He also prefers me to hold him when he is awake. It's quite the needy stage!

He continues to LOVE food! I feed him morning and in the evening. And all sorts of combinations of food. Yesterday, I was feeding him...but I looked up to see what Elliott & Emily were doing. And the spoon stopped an inch from his mouth...and he came to the spoon with his mouth to snatch that food!

I went ahead and put away the play mat...since he is now 8 months!l He plays on the floor...the bouncher...and the doorway bouncer. When I get ready, I bring him in the bathroom with me and he sits in the bumbo on the counter.
