Spring Cleaning

Patrick was in the mood for some spring cleaning. He got out the power washer and cleaned up the kids playset...and then he re-stained the shed. Him and Elliott also mowed the back yard...loved seeing Elliott do it!

Eucalyptus

Elliott's 1st grade class is studying Australia right now and he got to take care of their class pet koala, Eucalyptus!

Everett--5 weeks

This little dude is 5 weeks old today!

He's had a rough morning. I think he's been gassy...after about 3-4 tries...and 2 hours later...he's finally asleep! I'd get him to sleep...and then a few minutes later he'd wake up screaming...pretty confident it is gas. Poor little guy!!

He's more alert. He's more awake.

I read an article last night that for a baby to "sleep through the night"...they only sleep 5-6 hours...not 8-9 hours. Well...if that's the case...then he's been sleeping through the night since he was 2 weeks old! At night, his norm is a 5 hour stretch. During the day, he keeps me on schedule at 3 hours.

We love him to pieces...especially my other 2 goons!!!

Sweet Emily

Everett--1 month

It's hard to believe Everett is 1 month today. It's zoomed by...and it's been so much fun having him in our family.

Everett is a great eater.

He lets me know when it's time to eat...I no longer need to keep a hawk's eye on the clock.

If he's awake...and not eating...with a clean diaper...he really doesn't know what to do with himself and will let me know he's bored by squawking at me every few minutes. It's a cry for attention.

Elliott & Emily absolutely adore this little guy. It's been hard because the 1st 2-3 weeks of his life the kids weren't allowed to be near him because of their coughs. But we are healthy again...and they are always loving on him. It really is sweet. I'm glad to see that Emily has adjusted well and loves her baby brother.

He's had a few gassy episodes where he would scream...but not too bad...maybe only 2-3 times.

He doesn't have any issues with spitting up or drooling or any messes really that come out of the mouth.

This boy certainly does dirty diapers. At least 10 a day. If I'm not feeding him...I'm changing diapers!

We are getting closer to being on a regular schedule....which I can't wait for!

He's been quite the easy baby so far.

Everett--Bath Time

I finally got some pics of Everett at bath time...or I guess I should say AFTER bath time!

Everett--4 Weeks

So weird to think that in a few days this little guy of ours will be 1 month old! It's flown by...of course...as usual with these sweet little babies.

He's a great baby. But I've always had good babies...or maybe I have a high tolerance for these little ones!

He slept the longest last night for 7 hours. That was quite the treat. He usually does wake up once during the night and then again around 5 or 6 am. His awake time is usually 7-10 in the morning and the 6-8 in the evening.

We all LOVE spending time with this little guy of ours!!! We love him to pieces!!!

He wasn't too excited about our photo session this morning. But I managed to get a few good ones.

Big Sister Emily & Everett

Emily was so cute tonight. She sat beside Everett and was talking to him and ended up even singing to him. She was pretty adorable. She loves her little brother.

Valentine's Day 2016

We had a pretty chill Valentine's Day. We don't usually do much for this "holiday". Especially since our anniversary is just a few weeks away. Patrick got us some chocolate covered strawberries...and we picked up some sushi yesterday. We did get some pics of our cute kiddos!!

Elliott--Tooth #4

This silly boy! He was suppose to be sleeping...just like last time! But he came to us at 9 pm and said he had pulled out a tooth...he was so so excited. We asked him where his teeth was...and he burst into tears. Apparently, he swallowed it when he pulled it out!! He was so so upset about it. So we wrote a note to the tooth fairy...and she delivered...of course!

Everett Jacob--3 weeks

Our little Everett is 3 weeks old today.

I love this little guy so much!!

He is still sleeping like crazy. He is still my best eater yet. He only cries when he is hungry. So instead of me telling him it's time to eat...he tells me.

His brother and sister adore him like crazy too. All I hear all day is..."Mommy...he is soooo cute!"

This little girl was being pretty cute this morning. She insisted on wearing her daddy's hat...and even put it on herself! And then she found a leaf....

It was a late night...but we got his valentine box completed!! He had a lot of fun...and I actually let him do most of it!!
