Dear Eve,

I can't get over how cute these pics are of you this week! You are just so fun. I can officially say that you can roll over now. I thought it was a fluke previously...but you can definitely roll over. You are 2-3 months ahead of all the other kids!! Slow down Eve....I promise you it's not a race!!!! Love you little Eve!!!

Eve Elizabeth 3 Months

First Day 2019-2020

1st day of school!!! I admit...through all the bickering at the end of summer that I’ve been looking forward to this day! But as they board the bus....I already miss them!!! Have a wonderful day kiddos!!! 

1 year ago

1 year ago today we took in our first and only foster care placement. (I just miss those kids so much!) But I feel like my life has been so crazy since then. 5 months fostering...then finishing pregnancy....then the chaotic summer with a newborn. Today I feel I can finally relax and embrace some normalcy. Might not last very long....but I’ll take it!! Eve turns 3 months tomorrow. I would have never imagined that 1 year ago as I was loving on those 2 sweet kiddos that in 1 year I'd have a 3 month old of our own! I feel so blessed...all the time!! Please pray for my foster kiddos!!

Everett--speech

1st day back at speech!! Speech teacher was impressed that he's saying 4 and 5 words in a row!! He has improved so much. One night at dinner he says, "Oh this is delicious!" Where did that word come from?? He's doing good and we are so proud of him!!!

Dear Eve Week 13

Dear Eve,

The kids started school today!! It's been such a crazy summer...but hopefully we'll approach some normalcy at home now! We were busy with the big kids this past week....haircuts...meet the teacher. We had some good friends that came over to meet you too! You are still sleeping through the night pretty good. You roll over all the time! But you get so mad because you get stuck and can't roll back over! You are kind of giggling. It's half a laugh...I'm waiting for your fun belly laugh to come out! Right after I feed you, you are so happy!! You are always smiling...and like to chat with me. And I just love it!! That is when I take your weekly pictures...and that's why we get such good pictures of you!! We love you so much Eve!!

Everett's Toga

My Sunday School Lesson

Dear Eve Week 12

Dear Eve,

It’s been quite the week!! You have started rolling over...earliest of all the kids! So we had to go ahead and move you to the big crib in Emily’s room...and out of my room. Daddy is going to pack up the cradle for the very last time!! You are a champ at sleeping through the night!! You slept 10 hours last night!! This past week we played at a friends house and we did lots of shopping. You’re my little shopping buddy!!

Dear Eve,

You are such a joy in our family! This past week we had a visit from Kathleen & Megan. They just love you too!! We went and saw Toy Story 4 with them...you did pretty good in the movie theater...even at 11 weeks old! You're a champ! We love you sweet girl!
