Everett Jacob -- 19 Weeks

Today is Tuesday...and this crept up on me...more than usual. We just got back into town...and I feel like crud...like super duper crud..and while laying in bed...I realized it's Tuesday!! The sick lazy part of me said skip it...but...here are his Tuesday pics!! So I felt like I didn't go all out to take his pics...my bed is still unmade...calling me to go back! But when I uploaded these pics...I was surprised how many I LOVED!!! So I have a gazillion pics here.

Everett is so much fun. He just endured his 1st long roadtrip to my parents this past weekend! He was a champ...he had his moments...but he still did great.

He has great head & neck control now. I can now put him in the bumbo and the johnny jumper.

He finally met some aunts & uncles and some cousins!!! His 1st time!! And in a month...he'll meet so many more!!

I rolled him back over...he was so mad. So I thought I'd get a mad face...but he got really quiet when I pulled out the camera!

Memorial Day Weekend in Arkansas

We spent Memorial Day weekend at my parents...but spent Memorial Day traveling.

Everett met his 1st aunt!! And his 1st uncle...and his 1st cousin. It was a lot of fun to see family..as usual

Michelle, my mom and I had some nice spiritual talks on Friday morning...here's some quotes that my mom showed us.

Joel and his family came over for dinner...so Everett met more family!

Later in the evening, Patrick, Bret, Elliott and I went fishing. I had 2 bites...but they got away...and Patrick says those don't count!! But Patrick & Bret caught 1 fish each.

The kids playing "bullets"....sponsored by my dad, of course. He sent us this pic via text and said, "These are truly my grandchildren. I'm proud they are learning the important things in life!"

 During church on Sunday...I was really cold. I was wearing short sleeves...and I just figured it was cold in the building. Later on at home...I was FREEZING! Mom kept telling me it wasn't that cold. We then headed out to Joel's house. I had the chills...and just couldn't stop shaking! I had the heat blowing on me and everything...but couldn't stop the shakes! I then remembered that I had a temporal thermometer in my diaper bag....101.7! I knew something was wrong! Jeni got some medicine out for me...I could barely take it I was shaking so bad. Tylenol dropped it 1 degree...and got rid of my shakes. And then it spiked to 103. So I took some ibuprofen...and that broke the fever for me. I haven't had a fever since. My throat hurts and I have a cough...but no congestion. So I have no idea what I have.

So here's a pic when I was out of it laying on Joel/Jeni's couch. I am so grateful that everyone picked up my slack and took Emily to play. Everett just chilled out and Colten was trying to entertain him.

We left the next morning. So I was out of it for half the trip...maybe even more. There were more things I was wanting to do...but at least I'll be seeing everyone in a couple of weeks for our reunion!

Luau, Testing, & Road Trip!

Today was quite the busy day.

Elliott had a Luau at school for his vertical party. It was suppose to be outside with water activities...so they turned it into a Luau in the gym. He still had fun!

I was so proud of my Emily! She got tested today. I think every child should be tested when they are 3. Just to make sure they aren't behind on anything that you might not have caught. I was super impressed with her because she actually talked to the people administering the testing! So so proud of her. She did okay. Her articulation will need further testing that will happen later this summer. 

And our road trip! I took their devices away and go to sleep...and this is what happened!!

1st Grade Field Day

Elliott had Field Day today...I guess they ended up calling it Play Day...since it got rained out and they did dry activities in the gym. But he seemed to have a lot of fun. And I was glad I was able to go!

Everett Jacob -- 18 Weeks

Our cute little dude is 18 weeks old today!

I just fed him right before we took pictures, so he's a little more smiley today.

This week he has started to enjoy playing with his toys. He has already been enjoying playing with his baby gym. But now he enjoys the rattle ball, the football rattle, and his little elephant blankie. So cute to see him play with these!

He seems so robust to me! Just keeps on growing and growing...we are just about out of the 6 month clothes and I'll be getting out the 9 months next week! He's only 4 months old!!!

We love this little guy so much! Each day I feel so blessed that Everett is a part of our little family!

We just happen to have his green rattle ball laying nearby.....

As soon as she heard the clicks of the camera, Emily came running in to be part of them! So fun!!

Sometimes...when he's cranky...I put his toes near his mouth...and he just gets so happy and excited!!

Father & Son Campout

Patrick & Elliott had so much fun at the father/son campout!!

Well...I was thinking they were...until I got this text from Patrick!!! "Baseball to the nose, hard to tell in the pic but it's a little swollen.....He is fine now, a little put out for about 10 minutes."

But he's a champ...and he continued to have fun and play.

Patrick says this was one of the best campouts they had been on! So glad to hear they had so much fun!!!

And I snagged this one from a friend's post on fb...you know...since Elliott is there front and center roasting marshmallows! I asked Elliott to make a burnt one for me and enjoy it! He says he did!

Everett Jacob -- 4 Months

It happened. Again. Another month. And this sweet baby of mine is now a month older!! How?!? 4 whopping months for my little Everett man.

We love him soooo much.

It's fun to start seeing his personality emerge. He doesn't like change. At times he gets quite startled...and he's not a fan of that either! He doesn't want to miss out on ANYTHING! He won't nurse if there's stuff going on...he wants to see what's going on. Sometimes...even when the TV is on. He'll stop eating...and start watching TV. So funny!

The kids love to play with him....and they love on him all the time!

He loves to play with his play gym.

He is now sleeping through the night in his room in the crib. I may have early mornings...this morning was 4 am. But from 6 pm to 4 am...is definitely sleeping through the night.

He's rolled over a couple of times from his tummy to his back.

He almost rolled over from his back to his tummy this week.

He's very easy going and only cries if he's hungry or is gassy.

What was life like with 2 kids again? I forget.
