Everett Jacob -- 49 Weeks

It's a miracle that I got any pictures today! This little guy was on the move!! And he has no fear when he tries to just crawl off the bed!

49 weeks! I really just can't believe it! Why is it that the days are so long for babies...but the year just flies by?!?

He's doing awesome...of course. No more army crawling...all regular crawling..and he's fast!

He had his 1st Christmas and loves playing with all his new toys.

He still has no teeth! But he does an amazing job eating with no teeth! He always surprised me by the food he can eat!

We love you so much little guy!!!

I asked them to hold on to him...so he'd stop crawling out of the pictures!!

Christmas 2016

December just flew on by for us...and now Christmas has passed!

The kids had so much fun. We really tried to spend as much time as we could to make it memorable.

Christmas Eve was a lot of fun. The elf created a scavenger hunt for the kids to find their Christmas pajamas.We took the kids to see Moana. I even got Everett to be somewhat manageable. It was such a good movie...with a lot of good messages.

We then made cookies for Santa. The kids did so good this year! We had so much fun!!! I was so proud of them! Everett's contribution was consuming the cookies...he had so much fun!

We ordered pizza and watched a christmas movie. And then we went out to look at christmas lights in their Christmas pajamas and hot chocolate.

I just loved their pajamas this year! And Everett actually sat still for a few seconds!

 And I snapped a pic of each of them...

All set and ready!!

Everett woke at 12:30 am...I gave him a bottle...and then Elliott kept sneaking in the living room for the next couple of hours!! He was just so excited!! All the kids were up by 5:30...but we wouldn't let them out until 6 am! 

They, of course, had so much fun unwrapping all their gifts. We had kolaches for breakfast...even Everett had several...I think he ate more than Emily!

Everett LOVES paper and is always trying to eat it! So we thought he would just love to unwrap all these gifts and play with the paper. Nope...didn't want anything to do with it. He did like to play with the toys once their were unwrapped....but he didn't want to abandon them for the new ones. These balls from Santa are definitely his favorite....the most simple presents!

Emily's big present was this trampoline...all the kids love it.

All ready for church...Everett wasn't a fan of picture time!

After church, Grampy Steve was here. I wanted to snap another pic of the kids...but it wasn't happening. They were so excited to see Grampy!! So I got a quick snap of Everett and me!

We spent the rest of the afternoon with Grampy Steve. We had dinner...and played farkel...and just hung out. It was a really nice day!!

Everett Jacob -- 48 Weeks

4 more weeks! 😟

He's already 48 weeks. I think I'm having a hard time accepting that he's already to a toddler stage...that baby stage does not last long at all! I really do miss my little baby Everett!!

Everett is moving on from formula. He has 1-2 bottles a day....and a bottle of regular milk. But he usually doesn't even finish these. He's been eating more and more of regular food...which he loves! This morning I have him a handful of regular cheerios...and a few chocolate chex cereal. And could you believe that he picked out every chocolate chex cereal?!? So funny!!

He was quite mobile again for pictures...but he was cute. After I took one...he wanted to look at the camera to see his pic. He's seriously just growing so so fast!!

Everett Jacob -- 11 Months

11 Months! Our sweet baby boy only has 1 month left of being a baby!!! Then we'll be bringing on the crazy toddler stage!!

A month ago I thought he was cutting some teeth in...but not so much. He was definitely teething...but still no teeth! He looks so silly with no teeth!!

He LOVES to eat! Like...as soon as I put food on his tray...he starts shoveling it in his mouth!! I really don't remember my other 2 picky eaters doing this! Hopefully, he'll stay a good eater.

This past month he got out of his cranial band...graduated PT!

He is so mobile...crawling everywhere!! Not close to walking...thank goodness! He gets up on his knees....but has yet to get to his feet. Which I'm thankful for.

He says "Momma!" His 1st word! I'm pretty sure he's the only baby that has said "Momma" as his 1st word instead of "Dada". I try to get him to "dada"...but he just keeps saying "momma" over and over again. I'm kind of loving it...since he is our caboose!

I had such a hard time taking pictures this morning. He would not sit still! I had to take off the camera strap...because he ALWAYS wants that...and give him my phone. So I managed to get a few.

Love you little guy...try to stop growing so fast!!
