Everett Jacob -- Baby Blessing

I've been waiting for this day for a while now!! I am so glad we decided to wait for Everett to be blessed so my family can all participate!!

We attended the ward in Sevierville, TN and he was blessed there. We did have the guys "pose" for a blessing pic...just for me to have.

It was just an amazing experience to have my last baby to be blessed by his father and have my dad, all 4 brothers and brother in law there. I am so very grateful for the blessings and power of the priesthood in our lives.

White Water Rafting

My favorite activity all week was definitely the white water rafting!! Patrick and I have never been...and we both loved it! We had 2 rafts. Wade's family and Bret was in one...and in our was Patrick and I, Joel and his boys and Brock. This is the only pic I have found so far. Can't wait to go again!!

Rainbow Dash

My sweet little Emily decided to become "Rainbow Dash" (from My Little Pony) on day 1 of our roadtrip today. We let her have markers in the car...and she decided to color herself!

Everett Jacob -- 23 Weeks

It's Tuesday! And Everett is 23 weeks!

He has discovered he has a voice!! He's been babbling and talking so much more this week...to everyone! So fun!

He is doing so well in his cranial band! I have been so impressed with him!

Elliott & Emily have now started "fighting" over Everett. Now that Everett is "talking"...they want to be the ones that he talks to! They love this little guy!

Cranial Band

Well...here it is. Everett's new cranial band!

We have to do skin checks every 3 hours for the 1st 2 days. It just ensures that it's not applying too much pressure and allows him to get used to it. He should be in it full-time by Friday.

Patrick had fun designing it last night...and we had to apply 5 coats of mod podge.
