1 month with this sweet baby! I'm not sure what I did to deserve her...but I am so so grateful for her!

Dear Eve Week 4

Dear Eve,

You have now met almost all of Mom's side of the family!! You still need to meet Aunt Jeni and your oldest cousin Hunter. We surprised Grandpa Dunlap with a family reunion when he thought he was only coming into town for your blessing! Your daddy blessed you yesterday...and it was beautiful! We also spent another day at the splash pad earlier this week.

Eve's Baby Blessing

Eve's baby blessing was just perfect! What an amazing and special Father's Day for Patrick! It was a beautiful blessing. And I'm so grateful for all the priesthood holders in my family that were able to participate!! Patrick, of course, my dad, 4 brothers, brother in law, and nephew!

Dear Eve Week 3

Dear Eve,

Well Daddy is now back at work and all your grandmas have come and gone. It's time for us to do this on our own and get our life to our current normal! Tuesday you had your 2 week doctor appointment. It didn't go as well as I had hoped. The scale said that you hadn't reached your birth weight yet. I was so sad about this and worried about you. We then had to get some bloodwork done at the hospital...you were a champ of course. Friday, we went back to the doctor to check your weight...and now the scale says you had gained 1 pound...since Tuesday!! I'm not sure if the 1st scale was accurate. But I am so so happy that you are doing well!! After your appointment, we hung out with the bigger kids at the splash pad...you slept through it all!

Dear Eve Week 2

Dear Eve,

We just can't get enough of you! This week you got to meet and hang out with Grandma Abercrombie. We took you to your first movie, Aladdin. You slept through the entire movie! But it was so nice to get out of the house. Dad and I took you to your 1st Target shopping trip too! Tonight you had your 1st bath at home! You absolutely LOVE bathtime...you only cried when I took you out of the bathtub.

Dear Eve Week 1

Dear Eve,

We made it to 1 week already!! You were completely healthy in the hospital and we were discharged after 2 days. You had your 1st doctor's appointment the next day on Thursday. Doctor said you are a little jaundiced...just like all your brothers and sister. So we put your cradle in the window's sun. By the next day, you were completely fine. We've been hanging out with Grandma & Grandpa Dunlap all week...and you even got to meet your Uncle Wade and Aunt Jill on Saturday! Today, we got to see your sweet little grin!

Dear Eve,

Today is your birthday!! We are beyond thrilled to have you here in our family! You are absolutely perfect! When you were born you just screamed and screamed....they were trying to get all the fluid out of your lungs. As soon as they laid you on my chest, you calmed down right away! It's definitely your favorite spot. You are a great nurser...you latched on within seconds! We love you sweet girl!!
