Last Mom's Club Activity

This was my last Mom's Club activity. So sad to leave them. I have such good friends in this group!! This is a playgroup we did together...2 days after Patrick accepted his new job.

Emily was so silly. She was very unsure of the green icing...and wouldn't eat any of the candies that touched it. The only candy she would eat were the skittles.

While we were visiting my parents in Arkansas for Thanksgiving. I got Brock to take our family pics. The rest of my family was complainy and not that willing to take them...but we got a few that we liked.

I like this one only because of the kids...they were being so cute.

Hives

Patrick accepted his new job offer...and 20 minutes later, Emily broke out in these huge hives! Hmm....related?!? Some of the welts were bigger than my hand.

She broke out again 2 days later. She had some jersey knit sheets on her bed we had put on recently because of her throwing up in bed. So I did remove them...and no hives since. So weird. I'm tempted to get her allergy tested.

Potato Gun

Uncle Brock wanted to cement in the "favorite uncle" status and busted out the potato gun!! The kids loved it and it was fun to watch them.

50s Day

Today is the 50th day of school....so the kids dressed up 50s style. I'm not sure how 50s he looks...but this is what we got!

See that hat on the floor. He was SO insistent that he was wearing it today. Luckily...I had to slick back his hair...so he couldn't wear it anymore. I lucked out on that one!!

Halloween 2014

We had a crazy halloween day. My parents are in town, and halloween night is their last night with us. And Patrick is working late. We'd normally do more for Halloween, but in all honesty, I did the bare minimum. I wanted to spend as much time as I could with my parents...and wanted my kids to spend time with them too.

BUT...the kids had a lot of fun.

I got them dressed up. And as soon as we gave Emily her halloween bucket...she knew exactly what we were about to do. She remembered from the previous' week trunk or treat. It was fun to see Emily all excited and going from house to house. Elliott was super excited and walked ahead of us. We had to walk a bit to find houses with lights on. Emily was scared of a few other kids dressed in their costumes.

Afterwards, it was fun to see the kids "play" with their candy and being excited about it. Emily spilt a box of nerds on the floor. And Elliott helped her pick them up without being asked....it was way cute.

We then ordered chinese for dinner.

Nerd Day!

It's nerd day at school today...I had so much fun dressing Elliott up. He wasn't thrilled about it at all....he's very particular about what he wears. He refused to even look in the mirror. When his friend came over and said he looked good and to go look in the mirror. He did. And he seemed happier about the situation.
