Everett Jacob -- 26 Weeks

Everett is 26 weeks today.

I have been working on sleep training for him at night this past week. I wait 15 minutes to go get him when he wakes at night. And each night I decrease the amount I feed him. We are down to 4 minutes now. He's not happy about the situation...but he goes back to sleep just fine. He has slept through the night completely once this week. Last night, he woke up twice...but was happy with just a binkie...so that was pretty close to sleeping through the night. So he's getting there. I never had to try with my other 2!!!

He's super fun...and the kids love to play with him.

He's getting better at rolling over.

And he's loving to play with his toys more and more.

He is now able to play in a new toy!! Yay!!!

Swimming & Early Birthday

We spent the day with Grampy Steve and hung out at the pool in early celebration of Emily's bday. The kids loved the swimming. And Emily is sporting her new outfit from Aunt Amy.

Everett Jacob -- 25 Weeks

25 Weeks!!

We are back from vacation...and we are trying to get back in a routine!

Everett slept a few times all through the night while on vacation. But not even close since we've been home! Baby Boot Camp start when he turns 6 months...and we are going to get this boy sleeping through the night!!

He tried his first solids yesterday! I'm hoping once I get him more food in him, he'll sleep through the night.

He was quite spoiled on vacation...and now thinks he can be constantly held...not so little man!!

We had a cranial band appointment yesterday...his head has already improved so much! We have about 6 more weeks to go!

5 months is one of my favorite ages for babies! I love that they are so fun and interactive...but can't get away from you!! Everett is such a happy baby and we just love all this interaction from him!!

While the big kids and adults ziplined.....Patrick and I took the kids ziplining too!

Laurel Falls

We had a family hike with Bret's family. It was a lot of fun. It was about 2 1/2 miles round trip. I was so proud of Emily. She LOVED hiking...and never complained. And of course it was fun to see the falls.

Elliott had fun climbing around the falls and feeling the water.

And I decided that I needed a pic with my baby brother! Elliott loves that I call him my "baby brother" since he's almost a foot taller than me!
