Haircut!!

Time for a change!! I've been wanting to get my hair cut for a while. But Patrick says he doesn't like short hair...but I couldn't take it anymore! So off it went!! Patrick worked from home so I could leave the kids. I didn't tell him beforehand how short I was getting it cut!! Last time I had it cut was when I was 5 weeks pregnant with Everett...he is almost 13 months old! It was definitely time!

The Little Mermaid

Emily and I got some one on one girl time tonight when we went to go see a play of The Little Mermaid at the high school. This is one of her favorite movies right now! She had so much fun and was on the edge of her seat most of the time!

A friend in front of us took this pic....so fun!! She was like this during most of the play!

Everett Jacob turns ONE!!!

Oh this boy! He is just so fun!! I feel like I didn't get to absorb and enjoy this age with Elliott since I was working and our life was pretty hectic and up in the air back then. But Everett...is just so much fun!!

Everett loves hanging out with his big brother and sister....even if he's not playing with them...he thinks he is...and he loves it!

His favorite food is meat! And eating is his favorite past time.

Sadly, he's not a cuddler! It makes me so sad that these boys of mine won't give me hugs willingly at such a young age! Unless I wake him up...and then I get snuggles!!

He loves books...and tearing them up.

He loves music and waves his arms in the air when his toys plays music.

He also loves being chased...but he's not good at it. He ends up laughing so hard that he can't crawl anymore and ends up falling on his face or bonking his head on the floor!!

I hope Everett had a fun birthday!!!

We had fun with the smash cake!

We had his birthday dinner at chick fil a...and he got as much meat (aka chicken nuggets) as he wanted!

We then did presents and cake....he then try to take another plunge into the 2nd cake...but I definitely didn't let him. And even though he OD'd on the previous cake...I did let him have a tiny piece of this one.

We love you little guy...oh so much!! We hope you had a fun day!!!

Everett's 1st Birthday--Cake Time

Before I sat him down...I was sure I had my camera ready!

I took 195 pictures...of just this cake part! Glad I cleared my card's memory last night!!

So here he is...all sweet and innocent. He immediately did put his hands on the cake. It's like he knew what to do!

And then the fun began!!

And then the destruction. He actually knocked down the cake pedestal. Pulled the cake off it. Split the cake in half. And then picked up half the cake!

End of destruction. He started playing with his toys...so I assumed he was done. So it was bath time!

Everett Jacob -- 52 Weeks!!

52 Weeks!!

It is here...and we have finished 52 weeks of my little Everett Jacob!!

Oh...I can't believe it's been 52 weeks!! His 1st birthday is in 2 days...what a year!!

Everett still has NO teeth! Seriously!!

He is standing and pulling up to everything. But no walking or standing stationary.

He eats everything I give him. I give him everything we eat...minus the messy stuff....mostly because I'm too lazy to feed it to him. His favorite food are usually meats. And when it's really good...we usually have a tragic meltdown because he doesn't want to stop eating...EVER!

He is so fun! He recently LOVES to go to his Daddy after he wakes first thing in the morning. We are still waiting for him to say "Dada".

The kids are great with him...when I'm busy and he's fussy...it's nice to ask the kids to entertain him. And they usually do it willingly. They love it when they see him do something for the 1st time.

Oh how I love this little guy of mine! It's been a crazy busy year...but we are just so happy that we have him in our little family!!

He was so agreeable with pictures this morning! He actually sat there and smiled for me...so all the pics are of the same pose...but that's okay..we were done quick!! And he's so cute and smiley in all of them...so we have 7 of the same pic!

Everett Jacob -- 51 Weeks

51 Weeks!!

Almost done!!

Everett is into EVERYTHING!!

He loves to climb into the laundry.

He has learned how to stand on Emily's trampoline...which has a support bar.

None of my other children have been as busy as this little guy.

It was quite the adventure trying to get pictures of him today. He hasn't learned to respect gravity yet...so he kept going for the edge of the bed! And he would never keep still!!

We are moving on from 3 naps to 2 naps. His morning nap is no longer 1 hour...it's more like 2 hours.

Everett Jacob -- 50 Weeks

50 Weeks!!

Did you notice that...I just typed "5-0" How is that possible?!?! 2 more weeks and my baby will be 1 year old!!

Everett's new trick this past week is standing! When I got get him from his bed...he's usually standing in it!

We are curious when he'll start walking. If he'll walk before the other two. Elliott was 15 months...and Emily was 19.

This 52 week journey is almost coming to its end...so sad.
