Christmas Sunday

We somehow had a few minutes to spare before leaving for church...so we snapped some pictures. Especially since they were in their Christmas Sunday clothes!!

34 Weeks!

I think I have reached the point of where I'm tired of being pregnant. I hate saying that. I know so many people that would love to carry a baby and be pregnant. And I love feeling this baby kick and move around. I wish my body could handle this last month better...because this baby is a lot easier to take care of with him inside of my belly compared to outside...and I wish I could enjoy this last month more! I think this body of mine is just getting to old for this...ha ha!! My back is achy non-stop....I waddle....because of the back pain. I hate waddling!! We have 5 more weeks until this sweet little boy of mine will be here! I am very anxious for that!!

Elliott's Lost Tooth #3

Elliott went to a birthday party tonight...so he was already an hour late to bed. It was a little after 9...I was in bed already....Patrick was just getting out of the shower....and Elliott comes running into our room saying he has pulled out his tooth!! Oh gosh!! He was so super excited. All that was running through my mind was....how much later do I have to stay up!?!? Ha ha!!! Patrick helped him get all cleaned up and I snapped a quick picture. It was fun to see how excited he was!!

Magnolia Silos

After the ward Christmas party...we were debating what to do. We went and wandered a local craft show in Burleson. Then we found another craft fair in Fort Worth. Nothing striked us as amazing...and we didn't really want to go home yet. I mentioned in jest the Magnolia Silos...and Patrick jumped all over that. So we took a quick impromptu trip to Waco.

It was way busy...but it was fun! And the kids even had a fun time! AND we found another Santa!! While we were waiting in line for Santa, Patrick & Elliott had fun with a bean bag toss they had set up. The kids did a lot better with this Santa!

Santa gave them a sheet of stickers. I asked Emily later on if she liked Santa...she refused to answer! Elliott gladly told him what he wanted for Christmas...a race car and a race car track!

We then saw this way cute old truck...so I had the kids take a picture in front of that as well.

And then we ended our outing with a trip to Torchy's. YUM!!! So fun there too...and the kids had a good time as well!

Ward Christmas Party

We had a fun time at the ward Christmas party. Emily was super shy of course...and she wouldn't even sit in the chair next to me and instead stood by my side and hugged my arm. Once we got breakfast...she warmed up. Elliott had fun running around with all his friends. After breakfast, Santa came for a visit. Emily refused so Elliott went first with no fear. Emily wasn't a fan...I had to place her on his lap. But she was willing to accept a candy cane from him. After that I took the kids to make a nativity ornament craft. They had a lot of fun with that too.

Princess Crown

Grampy Steve alwalys sends the best cards!!! This year's Emily's Christmas card had a pop out princess crown...that you could decorate with stickers!! She wears it all the time and everywhere. It was the end of the world when it tore. Mom saved the day when I taped it back together....and then all was well in her world.

Prairie Lights

I'm trying so hard to do a bunch of fun Christmas stuff with the kids. Last year was quite lacking since we were in the middle of a move. And with the baby coming next month...they are going to be quite ignored. Hopefully they'll remember that we did fun things!

So far we've done gingerbread houses, the town's parade of lights/firework show, and the kids christmas shopping for each other. We still need to do Santa, ward party, driving around to see Christmas lights, and baking Christmas cookies.

Tonight for FHE we drove to Grand Prairie to see the Praire Lights. It was a drive-through Christmas park. They did have a spot where you could get out and walk through a forest of lights...but we passed on that this year. The kids loved it!!

I didn't take any pics....except for this one. I was surprised that it actually turned out!
