Since my new calling is the 2nd counselor in Primary, I was in charge of the "It's Great to be 8" program. I was pretty intimidated...I've never had a calling that I had to do so much. I was quite stressed out and worried that it wouldn't all go perfectly. But it went great!! I was so excited that everything went so smoothly and so well....I received so many many complements. Whew!!...It was a lot of work...it's nice that it's over now.
I wrapped a pair of socks in tulle for each child turning 8 this year with an attached poem. I also made this little bag of 2 donuts to make the shape of an 8. I also brought a cupcake cake for everyone.
